James F. Sallis

James F. Sallis is an important scientist in the area of active and healthy lifestyle, preventive healthcare, and sports sciences. He explores ways of supporting movement activities and understanding of how politics and environment influence our movement activities, diet, and obesity. He has written over 500 academic publications and is one of the most cited experts in social sciences in the world.

James F. Sallis has been collaborating with the Faculty of Physical Culture at Palacký University Olomouc since 1995. He participated by means of offering methodology and material help to create the research team for monitoring of movement activities in the Czech Republic. Throughout his collaboration, he helped in engaging the Faculty of Physical Culture and the Centre for Kinanthropological Research in worldwide research activities.
