QS World University Rankings: Europe
The QS World University Rankings: Europe was published in 2023 for the first time and is a replacement for the QS Emerging Europe & Central Asia (EECA) University Rankings. Palacký University was ranked 219th out of 688 universities and 9th in Eastern Europe.
The QS World University Rankings: Europe 2024 compares European universities from 42 member countries of the Council of Europe across 12 indicators focusing on research quality, graduate employment and employability, learning and teaching conditions, global engagement and sustainability.
Palacký University did best in the indicator of Students on international mobility, where it ranked 42nd overall and 3rd in the Czech Republic. The University of Olomouc ranked even better in the comparison of domestic universities in the indicators Ratio of foreign academic and scientific research staff and Citation rate, where it holds the 2nd place among Czech universities. On the other hand, UP ranked 10th in the domestic comparison in the Ratio of students per academic staff member and in International mobility of incoming students.
