Academic and research staff of Palacký University Olomouc can apply for the week-long international retreat Staff BIP: Expanding Scholarly Horizons, which will take place on 5–9 October 2026 at the University of Duisburg-Essen as part of the Aurora alliance. The programme will provide an intensive space for interdisciplinary exchange, sharing experience, networking with colleagues from partner universities, and developing ideas for joint teaching and research cooperation.

Participants will also meet early-career researchers involved in the parallel programme Rising Voices: Emerging Scholars Forum and will have the opportunity to contribute to the further development of Aurora’s shared educational and research space.

Interested applicants can apply by 31 July 2026. The application, together with a motivation letter in English, should be sent directly by email to shortmobility@uni-due.de. Please also copy Martina Buráňová, Aurora mobility coordinator at UP, at martina.buranova@upol.cz.

Please note that participation can be funded only through the Erasmus+ programme. Applicants must therefore have an approved Erasmus+ nomination for the 2026/2027 academic year. Without an approved nomination, the mobility cannot be funded from Erasmus+ resources.

Further information is available in the Aurora Course Catalogue.
