Palacký University represented by the vice-rector for International relations Ivona Barešová, the head of the Office for partnerships Tereza Kalousková, the head of the Office for mobility Jitka Králová and Niels Hexspoor from AURORA Alliance took part in the 36th Annual Conference and Exhibition of the European Association for International Education (EAIE) 2026, hosted between 8th – 11th September in Glasgow.
The EAIE Conference and Exhibition is the largest European forum for professionals engaged in the internationalisation of higher education. This year’s event, organised under the theme “The Rhythm of Revolution,” convened more than 7,000 participants from 107 countries, representing over 1,200 institutions and organisations worldwide. The programme offered over 240 sessions and activities, featured more than 350 speakers, and included over 250 exhibition booths.
Study in Czechia booth was organised and financially supported by the Czech National Agency for International Education and Research (DZS). Czech universities – including Palacký University had the opportunity to meet with their current and future partners and to discuss mutual cooperation.
Palacký University participated also as a poster presenter. The poster “Empowering inclusion through Erasmus+ ICM: Developing adapted physical activity at the University of Sarajevo” was prepared by Denis Čaušević (University of Sarajevo) and Petra Soldánová (Palacký University). The poster highlighted the development of the Adapted Physical Activity programme at the Faculty of Sport and Physical Education of the University of Sarajevo, implemented in cooperation with the Faculty of Physical culture of Palacký University Olomouc within an Erasmus+ International Credit Mobility project. Particular emphasis was placed on the challenges, good practices, and outcomes associated with advancing this field in Bosnia and Herzegovina, including the creation of an inclusive curriculum, intercultural learning, and targeted staff mobility. The poster was presented by Kemal Durić, the vice-Rector for International relations at the University of Sarajevo, and Jitka Králová, the Head of the Office for Mobility at Palacký University.
