Virtual online programs and BIP courses await you, combining online teaching with a short trip abroad. You’ll have the chance to deepen your intercultural skills, develop in inclusive education, immerse yourself in social innovations, or explore topics of linguistic diversity and sustainable education.
BIP: Online Meetings and Trip Abroad
Blended Intensive Programmes (BIP) combine online teaching with a short intensive stay abroad and enable you to gain new academic and practical experience in an international environment. You can apply until December 12.
Linguistic Diversity, Intercultural Competences & European Identity
Universitat Rovira i Virgili, Tarragona, Spain (April 20–24, 2026)
The course focuses on the significance of linguistic diversity and plurilingualism in the European space. Students will deepen their intercultural competences, become familiar with the differences between multi- and plurilingualism, and reflect on how their own linguistic identity relates to European cultural plurality. Practical work and discussion during the in-person part in Tarragona are also included.
All Aboard: Approaches to Making Language Teaching and Learning More Inclusive
University of Duisburg-Essen, Germany (May 18–22, 2026)
The course is intended primarily for future teachers and those interested in inclusive approaches to education. Participants will learn about ways to utilize cultural, linguistic, and other diversity in teaching. The program focuses on developing didactic strategies based on empathy, respect, and cooperation, as well as the role of multilingualism and artificial intelligence in inclusive teaching.
Spark Social BIP
University of Iceland, Iceland (May 11–15, 2026)
An interdisciplinary course dedicated to social innovation and entrepreneurship. Students work in teams on solving current and future societal challenges under the guidance of experts from both academic and business spheres. The program develops creative thinking skills, innovation, and finding sustainable solutions to real problems.

Virtual Online Courses
Sustainability, Education and Learning
Participants will focus on hidden (implicit) questions related to learning, teaching, and leisure activities for sustainability and will analyze and evaluate various approaches and contradictions that arise when working with learning and teaching for sustainability.
Trauma and its Impact on Health
Participants will gain knowledge about trauma in childhood and adulthood – including violence, accidents, disasters, and life-threatening illnesses – and its impact on mental and physical health.
