Register for a series of online workshops and seminars focused on Open Science and Citizen Science. Between December 2025 and May 2026, experts from universities in the Aurora network and other institutions will share practical know-how for open and socially engaged research.

You will learn how to work with open data, how to share research outputs correctly, how to involve the public, and how to use open-source tools and ethical approaches in citizen science. These skills will help you speed up and improve your research projects, avoid common pitfalls (e.g., related to data, licensing, or communication), increase the visibility and credibility of your work, and better meet the expectations of funding bodies and institutions.

The series is ideal for doctoral candidates, master’s students, early-career researchers, academics, librarians, and other staff interested in understanding both the principles and practice of transparency, efficiency, and societal impact. Join the growing community across Aurora universities and gain inspiration, contacts, and concrete methods you can apply in your work right away.

This series is a joint initiative of universities participating in the European university network Aurora. It is organized by Task Team 10.2 as part of Work Package 10 “Open Science and Citizen Science” within the Aurora 2030 project.
